The little things. Daughters.

Today was a great day!

It's the little things in life, that makes life beautiful.

I've been driving for Lyft & Uber the past few months to earn some extra cash.

Last night, I drove a visiting couple with their two daughters (2 yr. old & 3 yr. old) from Nick's in Manhattan beach to hotel Hermosa. On the way to the hotel, the couple asked if we could drive really slow to search for the younger daughter's favorite stuffed animal that she accidentally dropped out the window.

It reminded me of the time, when I was little baby, and I threw my stuffed rabbit out the window in the desert. My dad said, "tough luck kid," and I never heard from thumper again. So, I thought, if that were my daughter, I would look.

So, we searched for a while, but we couldn't find it & I could see that the younger daughter was really sad and almost crying, especially because her older sister still had her exact same stuffed animal with her. I let the parents know I would keep looking throughout the night and if I found the stuffed animal, then I would contact them...

After several unsuccessful drive throughs, I decided to try one more time.
